    Also http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x-ozWI-Ls9YDo you remember when Harlan Ellison was full of enthusiasm for IDEAS and other writers? Instead of telling us who he’s suing next…So you’re ok with someone downloading your out-of-print work, provided they give you, say £5, at your next signing?

    You know I honestly don’t know how I feel about it. It took me the better part of 6 months to write Transit and similar amount of time to write the Also People. Writing is hard work and had I known that they were just going to end up as glorified fanfiction to be downloaded for free I wouldn’t have bothered.So knock yourself out but when people stop writing don’t come crying to me.

    it is a complicated issue with these Virgin books bec-I think some people object to paying £10+ on ebay for the rarer ones (glorified 2nd hand books) rather than just being greedy like in those Ellison videosSuggestion-maybe you could put a paypal thing up on the page and people could give you donations, kind of like a “Thanks for the NAs, and parts of the Cartmel Masterplan Ben!”Jack P
